As attackers become increasingly sophisticated, firmware and hardware have emerged as prime targets for exploitation. In this presentation, we will explore how a secure chain of trust can be implemented to harden the SONiC network operating system boot process against such threats. We will also address how we improved resilience of the boot infrastructure against failures.
