4‑Rank CUDIMM is a new high‑capacity DDR5 module design that puts four memory ranks on a single module, enabling up to 128GB per stick and 256GB on 2‑DIMM motherboards. Talking Tech takes a closer look at engineering prototypes on display at #CES2026, starting with Adata and Luca DiFiore, the company’s head of product, who explains more about 4R CUDIMMs and their applications. Then we make the rounds at MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus to see how they’re helping to bring this new innovation to life on prototype Intel Z890 motherboards.
