The inaugural Energy & Nature Forum, organised by PETRONAS and our contributing partners, took place from 13 - 15 June 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Held ahead of Energy Asia 2025, the Forum brought together over 300 participants including global energy leaders, government officials, civil society representatives, academia, non-profit and international organisations. The goal was to understand and discuss the complexities and opportunities arising from the interdependencies between energy and nature.
The Forum highlighted the need to place nature at the heart of the energy transition to enable a nature-positive transformation that will ensure both people and natural ecosystems can thrive in a fair and balanced way.
