β˜€οΈ Energising practices can help you feel more awake, focused and ready for action:

πŸ‘‰ Kapalabhati Kriya - sharp, forceful exhales through the nose while pulling the belly in with each breath. Inhalation is passive and automatic. It clears the lungs and wakes up the entire system.

πŸ‘‰ Bhastrika Pranayama - inhale and reach the arms up, exhale and pull the elbows down sharply.

πŸ‘‰ Simhasana Kriya - inhale deeply, exhale with force through the mouth with the tongue out and eyes wide. Releases tension held in the face, jaw and throat. 🦁

πŸ‘‰ Surya Bhedana - inhale only through the right nostril, exhale through the left. Directly activates Pingala Nadi and builds focus.

πŸŒ™ Calming practices can help you slow down, settle the mind and prepare for rest:

πŸ‘‰ Nadi Shodhana - alternate nostril breathing. Inhale left, exhale right, inhale right, exhale left. Balances both hemispheres of the brain and settles the nervous system.

πŸ‘‰ Bhramari - thumbs in the ears, index fingers on the eyebrows, middle fingers gently on the eyelids, ring fingers outside the nostrils without closing them, and pinky fingers on the outer border of the lips. Inhale deep, exhale with a long hum. The vibration directly calms the mind.

πŸ‘‰ Box Breath - inhale 4 counts, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4. Brings the nervous system into a steady state.

πŸ‘‰ Chandra Bhedana - inhale only through the left nostril, exhale through the right. Directly activates Ida Nadi and prepares the body for rest. πŸ›Œ
