The Death By Audio Destroyer series impressed me! With their compact designs, stereo sounds and cool retro aesthetics, the Dream Station Delay and Moonbeam Phaser pack a ton of sonic range - from subtle and familiar to wild and experimental.
The Death By Audio Dream Station reminds me a lot of the EQD Dispatch Master , with more control and stereo implementation. Its three filter modes give you bright, full or dark sounding repeats and are great for ambient guitar tones, slapback echo, analog delay sounds and more. Plus, the ping-pong stereo effects is dynamic and fun.
The Moonbeam Phaser is an impressive analog phaser with 6 modes to choose from. It's an insanely broad array of sounds - from slow harmonic sweeps to chewy phaser swirl, to ring mod type tones - it can do it all!
...and pairing the two in stereo can create some of the best ambient soundscapes, with dynamic movement and lush atmosphere.
