Since April 2019 I've been working as an on-call Educational Assistant, at a different school pretty much every day. This is for the kids. I miss you!
The virus hit just as our two week Spring Break was starting. I’ve been in self isolation since then. I’m ready to go back to school, but that’s not the world we live in anymore. Teachers and Principals and Custodians are heading into the schools tomorrow, setting up a new and innovative online learning approach. I’m happy for the kids, thankful to the efforts of many who are making this happen. And I hope there’s a place for me as part of it in the future.
While I was on my daily walk around the neighbourhoods I collected photos and wrote this song. For the kids. Pay attention! Make your brain strong!!
