As writers, we all encounter moments when we don't feel inspired to create. We all deal with doubts and fears about our work. But I believe that the best way to rediscover inspiration when it seems to have abandoned us is to go back to the root of the source. To find the cause of burnout, writer's block, and lack of motivation. So if you are a writer, or a creator of ANY kind... I don't call myself an author because I don’t believe in labels.
I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves. I am the author of the young adult urban fantasy series The Blood Race, and am currently working on several new series's.
