We often neglect to consider the perspective of those in power, perpetrators, or decision makers by asking, OK, where are they coming from? Why are they involved in this harm? What actions could they genuinely take? And practically, ask them to make changes instead of resorting to simple, easily disregarded demands like "stop the war".
