The goal of the Emory oak Collaborative is to restore and protect Emory oak stands (Quercus emoryi) to ensure the long-term availability of emory acorns for future generations of Apache people. This collaboration between Apache Tribes, the Forest Service, and Northern Arizona University combines research and restoration to support the health of oak groves in central Arizona.
