Life is unfair. That is a thought that has pervaded my existance before I was able to think my own cogent thoughts. Life is bound to be unfair, etc. It's hard to think things differently. It's hard to embrace happiness when it seems like happiness is just something that other people get to have. Or security or abundance or any of that good stuff. But this shift of thinking- maybe it could be unfair in my favor- that's good. That's a shift. And looking at all the ways that there is already so much good and wonderful and happy maybe can help me open up to even more good stuff.
