In this video I discuss the history of passementerie (the production of different kinds of trims), including pompoms, tassels, and fringe. I also demonstrate how to make each of these embellishments and provide some ideas for book resources if you're looking for inspiration and instructions on how to create projects with pompoms, tassels, and fringe. Before going into the classroom, I talk about the knitting retreat I attended last weekend and show some finished objects that graduated this week!
