Elphaba And Fiyero Are Returning To Oz In Wicked Part 3?!
We’ve had plenty of big-screen romances over the past year, but I have to say that Elphaba and Fiyero are one of the best. Maybe it’s the magic of musical theater, but watching them fall in love was a highlight of my movie theater experience. It’s rare for two characters to meet one another, be so different, and then draw out the deepest parts of one another for the world to see. These two couldn’t have met without becoming fundamentally changed, and I’m not talking about that scarecrow transformation! The entire theme of Wicked revolves around people coming into our lives, either for a short time or forever, who will change us. Fiyero and Elphaba fit the bill, and they deserve to stick it out together after their clever escape. Of course, there’s always the chance that they’ll return to Oz one day, which is what we’ll talk about in today’s video!
