A quiet drink for one of Africa’s giants.
This elephant stopped by the Okaukuejo Waterhole for a much-needed drink, taking its time at the edge of the water while the rest of the landscape carried on around it.
I always enjoy these calmer moments just as much as the dramatic ones. There is something special about watching an elephant so close to the waterhole, completely focused on something as simple and essential as a drink.
