I really struggle expressing how i feel on here, whilst i do it through my music quite openly and easily and you all have welcomed me with big open, arms and have always been so kind towards me and my artistry; i always panic when it comes to voicing my opinion on political matters or other things that are happening around the world - i fear being judged, i fear upsetting people, i fear i will say the wrong things, and ultimately my opinion doesnt actually matter. But im trying to change that about myself. Whilst Im an innately private person, i dont want to sit silently anymore in fear.
As the world falls into complete disarray, and more chaos ensues, I feel deep deep love and compassion towards the Palestinians and the war they are facing. Respectfully, I do not care about your opinions on the matter. And no, there is absolutely no hate towards Jewish people. May they all go safely and in peace. But innocent blood is being shed. My issue is with governments. Genocide unravelling right before our eyes. FREE PALESTINE.
Please please please be kind to those around you. Tell your friends and family you love them. Show love to the ones who love you. Show compassion, show mercy. We have one life, and whilst there Is not so much one can do from the outside, we can change our approach towards other people.
