Still determining what it takes to bear the forces on a steering wheel …

Last time we covered the axial forces, that is what we need to keep that shaft being pushed/pulled out of the bearing, and the bending of the POM bearing under radial loads (link below). But there are more parts we need to make calculations for.
First, we have a look at the initial drawing. Then we calculate the required thread lengths for the steering wheel and bearing mounting bolts. Finally we talk about torque: What shaft keys are needed to transfer it and what bolts to stop it.
