Made a lovely LFO patch on the SE02 and this jam developed out of it. Chord oscillator used on the Microfreak running through a delay and reverb. The S1 is using some noise oscillator and the noise LFO with reverb to give a nice distorted and dirty feel. The SE02 sequencer has no notes in it, but is being used as a master clock and start/stop.

A great way to spend an hour on a dark, cold rainy Saturday.
Starting with a glitchy percussive sequence on the RoAT which is sending clock to the Double Knot
Double Knot has sequences running independently in both shift registers. I’ve put data into these manually instead of just feeding them the waves from the oscillators. It’s a fairly simple patch.
The Etherealizer is adding delay, reverb and some granular sampling playing the x2 setting (double speed, 1 Octave). This pedal adds a huge amount of body to the overall sound.
The Swarm has a freeze sample (of a chord) set up and ready to play before starting so I can just bring that in when I want.

Beats with Chaos synths. My new favourite thing. With detuned polyphonic pads to pull it all together.
The Peterlin is receiving CV from the Hikari Duos which gives it (some) predictably. The Monos is receiving clock from the Duos into the filter which keeps it in sync. The Behringer RD8 is stand alone with no clock or sync but it worked fine somehow. Lots of reverb on the RD8 to give it that nice dreamy feel. I’m just playing along on the Artium Swarm but there’s also a sampled ‘freeze’ chord that is giving a nice detuned drone under everything.
