More experimental electroacoustic music with a steel sheet, contact microphone, magnets, and an amplifier circuit I developed. Its tone has a strange but familiar sound that can almost mimic a flute, cello, or synthesizer.

I tried revealing the cymatic patterns by sprinkling fine white powder (xanthan gum) on the plate, but the vibrations are too weak to shake the dust into moving around visibly.
