Increasing the voltage on my previous DIY electric bike (goo.gl/du66c1) to see what speed we could get out of it! I'll probably try 12 cell batteries (50v) soon, but will adjust the gear ratio for about 30mph, which should give a lot better acceleration and hill climbing abilities. Then it'll be time to invest in some li-ion 18650 batteries!
