An elderly movie theatre worker in Tennessee has been surprised with nearly $145,000 after a 21-year-old woman launched a fundraiser to help her retire.

Brooklyn Green said she was moved after seeing the worker, Mary, pushing a cleaning cart at an AMC theatre, with the TikTok video and GoFundMe raising more than $100,000 in less than 24 hours.
