In 2022, 68-year-old Susan Leyden was reported missing after visiting an acquaintance in Brooklyn. Her remains were later discovered in the area, leading to the arrest of 83-year-old Harvey Marcelin. Marcelin, who had previously been convicted of murdering two other women in the 1960s and 1980s. Harvey Marcelin went on trial for Susan's murder in May 2026 and was convicted on all counts on May 8th, 2026; he was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole on June 10th, 2026.
