Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is FINALLY on Nintendo Switch 2 - and it's shockingly good. Is it the best way to play? My honest review covers performance, the 2 new classes, and the ONE big flaw.
Elden Ring has entranced players since 2022, and now Tarnished Edition brings the full game + Shadow of the Erdtree to Switch 2 with two new classes: Edith Knight and Heavy Knight. In this review I test performance on Switch 2 vs PC (120+ hours played), graphics & lighting issues in handheld, accessibility, and whether you should buy it now.
As someone who platinumed Elden Ring twice, I was blown away by how smooth and stable it runs, no crashes, no pop-ins, even while riding Torrent and fighting in the open world. But the lighting is incredibly dark in areas like Castle Ward Tunnel, and font size accessibility still needs work.
Should you get Elden Ring on Switch 2 if you already own it on other consoles? Or if Switch 2 is your only console? Watch before you buy.
