Here’s our hands-on gameplay of CONTROL Resonant from Summer Game Fest 2026, played on PlayStation 5 Pro using Performance Mode.

This preview shows Dylan Faden as the new playable character, with Remedy shifting the sequel toward melee-focused combat, aerial combos, platforming, and plenty of paranatural chaos. The PS5 Pro build ran smoothly during my time with it, and it already has me excited to see where Remedy is taking the sequel.
