Breaking into a Hideaway, is sometimes, harder than it looks. Finding the Mage that has their super-secret lair, is even harder. From there, we go to visit the Gaols that literally dot the landscape across the Lands Between and enforce our continued dominance in most cases. After talking a bit about the transformative nature of crucibles; we approach the Grand Lift of Rhold -- much to the Finger's chagrin.

![Age of Ancients: Shadow Tower: Abyss: Episode 0 (Prologue)
Shadow Tower: Abyss (2003), one of my personal favorites in the FromSoftware canon, has a history about as twisted as the tree-roots jutting up from the ground. The reboot to the Shadow Tower (1999) was announced at the dawn of the Playstation 2 life-cycle and apparently delayed to 2003. Slated to be released by AGETEC it was cancelled last minute by Sony Computer Entertainment America in a move that will be eerily similar to what would be the story to Demons Souls. Unlike Demons Souls, however, Shadow Tower:Abyss remained a curio until a fan-translation made the game playable internationally eight years after its release.
Well go over all of that and more, in preparation for our Lets Play for one of FromSoftwares best from Generation Six.
