In the continent of Eclipse, stood a tower that pierced the sky. Many, many years ago, the tower was erected in a ritual to seal the Crown of Eyes away at its heart. It worked... for a time, and peace blossomed along with the town of Zepta that sprang around the base of the tower....

... But time wears on...

One Night, Ruus Hardy returns to Zepta ater a mercenary job, looking to enjoy a warm meal at the woman he lovingly calls 'Grandma.' Only to find that Zepta and the Tower have disappeared in a cataclysm, leaving only a crater where the Tower once stood. Mistaken for a Chosen Warrior, and despite his fear, Ruus heads into the tower hoping to rescue the woman he thinks of as his 'Grandmother.'
