Discovered this months ago during a run using Golem Halberd, but never managed to replicate it reliably until today. I still don't entirely understand what determines whether or not you get knocked down - I was guessing headshots, but the clip getting knocked out of my own Waterfowl seems to be hit in the left hip - but for the purposes of "avoiding" Waterfowl Dance, this jumping strat seems reliable with good timing.

Doing some routing to see if itd be possible to speedrun this game. So far its looking like 7 hours at most, probably 5 or less optimized.
This fights been the biggest roadblock so far though, which really caught me offguard since it was a cakewalk on my first playthrough. Ill need to remember to buy a couple extra cold regulators if I ever actually run this some time in 2036 (anyone happen to know how many turns Regulators last for?).")

This boss is a real dick. On top of being able to do well over 100% of any of my characters max HP in one hit with the majority of his attack skills, he can also do fun things like copying your skills and using improved versions of them, and on several attempts (this boss took like eight tries) I was met with a 500 damage arrow snipe on turn 3 that still makes very little sense to me.
He was surprisingly nice on the clearing fight in comparison, but it was still a rocky battle.")
