This boss is a real dick. On top of being able to do well over 100% of any of my characters' max HP in one hit with the majority of his attack skills, he can also do fun things like copying your skills and using improved versions of them, and on several attempts (this boss took like eight tries) I was met with a 500 damage arrow snipe on turn 3 that still makes very little sense to me.
He was surprisingly nice on the clearing fight in comparison, but it was still a rocky battle.
