We live a VERY comfortable middle class life on less than $2,000/month in a small rural beach town on the coast of Ecuador. Our cost of living in Olón Ecuador is nearly identical to our cost of living in Cuenca Ecuador last year, which you can watch here: youtu.be/Qo2uK85GdL4
We haven't noticed any major price increases or inflation in Ecuador before, during or following the quarantine in 2020. Some of our expenses went up while others went down, which we explain in detail in our blog post.
