Today, I'm back in the 1996 Liberty and replacing the front ceiling Tivoli rope lighting. While I replaced the bedroom lighting about 5 months ago, I wanted to test the installation before doin the more visible front ceiling lighting. It is a fairly simple process and removing the incadecent bead lighting, the indirect lighting has fully transformed to a modern look from the tired look. While there is still probably too much mood lighting, I still have a long way to go to replace it all. I found diffused LED rope lights with the correct color tone and while it came with a 120vac driver or converter, I purposely looked for LED light strips that used 24VDC as a power source so I could wire them direct.
