If there is a more wholesome summer time activity than making homemade strawberry jam, we don't know what it is. Longtime fans may remember Jacques Pépin's strawberry preserves recipe that required a 4-day process of baking strawberries in the sun. But for those of us who don't have the luxury of time (or patience), try this oven-baked strawberry jam recipe that takes less than half that time.

What you'll need:
2 lbs ripe strawberries, 1 1/4 cup sugar.
