this is a very easy one light set up you can do just about anywhere. it is a great starting point for youtube videos and you can build off of it to make your videos great. with your camera right in front of you move your main (key) light 45 degrees from you. off to one side. then place your bounce (foam) board off to the opposite side of your main light. you want to bounce your main light off the bounce board to fill in the shadows on your face. if your background is to dark try adding a light behind you to add some separation from the background and you. by doing this you will also add some rim light to the back of you. starting with a lighting setup like this will allow you to build upon it making for a very nice photo or video.
