I wanted to do a few Valentine's cards this year and this is the first one that I did. I'm using negative painting to create the hearts overlapping in this watercolor painting. You can use any color that you want, you want start light and make sure your washes are watery enough to be able to the area without running out of paint or you will create hard edges.
