For the past seven years, the East LA Runners have been promoting and encouraging health in their community through running. The group meets every Tuesday at the East LA Civic Center, where some members arrive by train. Ariadna and Raul are advocating for improved infrastructure in the area to keep pedestrians safe while engaging in activities to improve their health.

Community Recommendations:
Offer free rides to anyone engaging in activities to improve their health
Engage and support businesses in the community
Street Improvements
Pedestrian and Cyclist Lighting
Street Trees
Bus Stop Improvements
