Come along as we visit Whiting and East Chicago, Indiana to see NS action on the Chicago Line. These cities also play host to the CSX, CN and mill switching at the Arcelor Mittal Steel Mill. Then we move Calumet Interlocking before being treated to a couple of Indiana Harbor Belt SW-1500's simultaneously switching Gibson Yard. CSX, NS and Chicago, Ft. Wayne and Eastern top off our visit in Dolton, Illinois. This video was captured at a time when many locomotives that are now sold, rebuilt or scrapped, were still leading mainline trains!
