So I keep getting asked the same thing, people have got a motorhome, watched all the videos, but they're too nervous to actually do it. So today I'm fixing that. I'm taking you to a pub stop in Coventry to show you exactly how a complete beginner starts wild camping without throwing themselves in at the deep end. There's two easy ways to dip your toe in, and a pub car park is one of the best — you're allowed to be there, there's people around, and it gets you used to the noises without the nerves.
I go through how I find pub stops using Park4Night, Search For Sites and Google Maps, the little phone script I use to ask if I can stay the night, and how to keep the cost down so the pub meals don't eat your whole trip, I need to listen to this haha
This pub is Ye Olde Saracen's Head in Coventry and it turned out to be a cracking little parkup, super quiet as anything, loads of character inside, and I slept like a baby!
