Dr. Timo Müller leads the Division of Molecular Pharmacology at the Institute for Diabetes and Obesity (IDO), Helmholtz Munich and he is also the acting director of the IDO. Dr. Müllers #research is focused on the development and evaluation of novel unimolecular pharmacotherapies to treat the #metabolic syndrome, and in particular #obesity and #diabetes.
During the @EASDiabetes Annual Meeting 2023 in Hamburg - #EASD2023, Timo Müller was awarded the Minkowski Prize to recognize his research contributions to the advancement of knowledge concerning diabetes. The prize gets awarded to an outstanding researcher, normally residing in Europe, with no more than ten years full time experience as an independent investigator in the year of the nomination.
