Earth Day 2018 focuses on ending plastic pollution. Inspired by her peers when she attended the 2017 YSEALI Sea Camp, Coron, Singaporean Samantha Thian decided to start Seastainable Co., a social enterprise that aims to inspire Singaporeans to stop using disposable plastic straws by providing reusable metal alternatives. Samantha believes that if everyone does their part to reduce their use of plastic, we can definitely make an impact on the environment. Every tiny straw can make a difference.
