Fall in Kansas! The leaves begin to turn color, the temperatures cool, and the Bald Eagles return to our area! With three rivers and several lakes in the vicinity, Junction City becomes a center of eagle spotting activity! The Junction City Riverwalk Trail runs along the banks of the Republican River to Milford Lake. Bald eagles flock to its shores and so do we, just to get a look at them! On a beautiful Fall afternoon Christina and I set out to enjoy one of our favorite trails and get a look at these majestic creatures.
