The Eagle Rock Loop is a 27 mile loop located in the Ouachita National Forest in western Arkansas. I was joined by 7 friends and we tackled the multiple climbs, high temperatures and high humidity. The breeze and views from the peaks and the cold creeks and rivers in the lower areas were heaven sent in sweaty conditions. Hiking low miles in a big group isn't always my favorite, but this trip was fun.
