Old VHS tape taken in 1999. This is a tour of the grounds of Eagle Park, now defunct, led by the owner Herbert Woesner. This is one of those parks that flourished during the early 1960's. The collection of rides were typical of roadside attractions of the time. There was also a skating rink, bumper cars, and horseback riding. It also featured a collection of local historical buildings brought there by Mr. Woesner in attempt to preserve them. Probably the most significant building was the former home of Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. When Fort Sill expanded the post training areas for artillery, Woesner purchased the house and had it moved to the park. Today the park is pretty much in ruins and Mr. Woesner is gone.
