Have been missing turning since I got back from the Yandles show, so today I turned an experimental sycamore objet d'art thing.
Coloured with Intrinsic Colours, textured with a dremel and then finished with Hampshire Sheen. I used a Robert Sorby 10mm Excelsior spindle gouge and 3/8" bowl gouge for the shaping of it.
Quite like the shape from about half way up - not so keen on the bulge bit. The base is nice though but it may well not appear in version 2..
