Thule | E4: LIVE FROM CRANKWORX bike packing & photography w/ Mylo Fowler @thule | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 5 days ago.
Mylo Fowler is a Navajo photographer who has shot for the National Geographic, Adobe Lightroom, Nike, and more. His interest in photography started while working at a tourist shop in Northern Arizona. There he saw photographers struggling to capture the local canyons because of the low light, and made it his mission to capture the beauty of his Navajo land.
In recent years, Mylo has been combining his love for photography with his love for mountain biking to raise money and install solar kits in indigenous homes without electricity. One of those projects was a bike packing journey over 400 miles from Utah to his homestead in Arizona to raise $50k to power more homes.
Mylo’s journey from photography to philanthropy, and his way of viewing nature and community is sure to inspire you!
