Brooklyn Bell is a young, inspiring mountain biker, skier, and artist. Using her skills and an illustrator, Brooklyn created Ruby J, a fictional role model who Brooklyn could look up to in an industry without many people who look like her.

Ruby J pushes Brooklyn to be a better athlete. She also teaches Brooklyn the importance of bringing other talented women of color along with her.
