Today we're looking at E.T. Phone Home for the Atari 8 bit line of computers from 1983. And no, its not that OTHER E.T. game that everybody talks to death about! Its actually vastly different and came out several months after the 2600 edition. So it appears that this game was given 4-5 months longer to be programmed and designed. Did this time result in a better game, or is E.T. doomed to be a subpar game on the Atari platforms, no matter which one we discuss?
We score all the games we review on a 5 point scale and here is what each rating means...
5 out of 5 is PERFECT! These are those rare must own games that don't come around often!
4 out of 5 is Great! These are games that everybody should enjoy.
3 out of 5 is Good. These games are often flawed but overall should be enjoyable for most people
2 out of 5 is Bad. These games are also flawed but unfortunately they just aren't enjoyable...
1 out of 5 is Garbage! These games are broken and shouldn't be bother with!
We also look at hardware and accessories from time to time but simply recommend those or don't. No real score is given!
