This video was made for the DZ Studios Iron Chef Tournament. This video is a slightly modified version, but it's still for 99% the original IC version. I just fixed one orphan frame and added RE: Twixtor to smooth two scene motions. There are no big changed.

This is my video for the first round of the DZ Studios Iron Chef Tournament. In this round it was me against Nerdstrudel. We had 30 minutes for audio preparation and 2 hours for actual editing. I lost, but I think that we both made great videos that were good one their own. We both went into different directions in editing for interpreting the song. I'm happy that I don't have to choose the better of the two videos. Well... I like mine more ;P

So what is this video about?

The focus lies on the character Batou of the Ghost In The Shell series. He often left the impression of a very calm character that yet just exctitly waits for some action and adrenaline on me. He is just looking for trouble. The video editing is less agressive. That means that the video is less ovious manipulative. You won't see in your face sync, fades and effects. There are a lot of hard cuts, some crossfades and some velocity changes. There is quite a lot of work in it to bound it more tight to the song, but all the work is not ovious at all. Blah... just watch it, mkay?
