This is the third Dyson HD01 hair dryer repair. The first Dyson repair was a minor repair, and the second one needed a board level repair. This 3rd dryer is not turning on at all like no power. I will just focus on the repair in this video and have a separate video for the disassembly and the reassembly to keep the repair video (and any I may have in the future) as short as possible and we will always have the other videos for reference if needed. I have taken the time to create a quick detail drawing of the heating circuit etc. to help with troubleshooting as well. I also mention in this video briefly about a project I have been working on for a company that wanted a Dyson dryer for an application with much reduced heat and air flow than the factory one will adjust to. The company found me due to one of these repair videos about the prototyping work for them. It was a fun project and a blessing to be a part of.
