I’ve created optimized settings for Dying Light: The Beast that deliver visuals close to Ultra while giving a higher frame rate. The game is extremely demanding at native resolution, and without an upscaler you can’t maintain a stable 60+ FPS on mid-range hardware. For these optimized settings, I’m using DLSS 4 as the upscaler. The FSR frame generation implementation is also very impressive here. On my 180 Hz display, it feels super smooth, and the image quality holds up well as long as you start with a solid 60 FPS base. For GPUs with 8GB of VRAM, I recommend using medium textures, since high textures exceed 8GB and VRAM usage continues to climb the longer you play. I also suggest enabling Asynchronous Compute in the graphics settings, as it gives a slight boost in performance. On Intel hybrid CPUs like my i5-13600K (with P-cores and E-cores), the game stutters badly by default. To fix this, I disabled all E-cores in the BIOS, and the game ran perfectly stable after that. Thanks for watching!
