I’ve tested every DLSS model on the RTX 5050, from DLSS 1 all the way to DLSS 4.5, to see how they really perform. Honestly, DLSS 3 and DLSS 4 feel like the sweet spot. They give the best balance between image quality and performance. DLSS 4.5, on the other hand, feels way too demanding. It focuses so much on improving visual quality that performance takes a big hit. At that point, it ends up performing almost like native TAA, which kind of defeats the purpose of using DLSS in the first place!
