I actually found a way to permanently dye Fireline into different colors using a product by Jacquard called iDye Poly. Google for suppliers.
I bought another Jacquard product called "Dye-na-Flow" that worked incredibly well for dying white matte finish seed beads. It's a super pigmented, water like paint that heat sets to produce a permanent color finish on matte finish beads. Dye-na-Flow was purchased from Dick Blick Art Supply.
