Dust is the worst enemy of a model railroad. It creates an ugly grey filter over everything and has a negative effect on locomotive performance. The color slowly and incrementally "greys-out" over time, and the vibrancy of color is lost from when it was new. When you conduct a deep clean, as I show in this video, you will be re-inspired and amazed how new and fresh your model railroad becomes, almost as if it was fully restored.
