just something about a young kid vowing to save their people, then over the centuries, realizing they've become something much darker -
reading all of bb’s interviews about the darkling this season, especially his end scene, really got to me, lol. and how all the questions he asks of alina, such as “are you willing to sacrifice that which is most precious to you”, are all what he ends up answering himself. [gestures wildly] so!
originally I had planned a sad/death edit but, tbh, if there is a s3 (??? question mark??) im sure he’ll be back (annnnd I’m ngl im still sad about losing ‘someone to mourn me’). BUT! I have this entire monster speech, so. no, I will never shut up about it. that scene is everything to me.
me @ netflix: give me the deleted scene of him giving her his powers, cowards
anyways, y’all know I love the morozovas so I won’t go into too much here but as much as I hated a lot of what they did with the morozova family (pls don’t talk to me about the hand or the tether …. why @ god), I did get a lot from them. demon in the woods references…. I see you.
ps. I heard they tried to adapt DITW into s2? god, every day I wish we could have had a spin off sooner for the crows and for a sab focused s2.
